Sadie G. Mays Among the Best Nursing Homes in the U.S.

The U.S. News & World Report has named the Sadie G. Mays Health & Rehabilitation Center among the best nursing homes in the U.S. for 2012. Using data from the federal government’s Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), they ranked 16,000 nursing homes in the U.S. and D.C. in three areas: health inspections, nursing staffing and medical care. Out of Georgia’s 359 nursing homes, only 38 were rated 5 stars. Among the three nursing homes that are rated 5-stars in Atlanta, Sadie G. Mays was ranked first.
