Hospice Care

Hospice is a philosophy of care that recognizes death as the final stage of life and seeks to enable patients to continue an alert, pain-free life and to manage other symptoms so that their last days may be spent with dignity and quality, surrounded by their loved ones.  Hospice is not a place, it is a service.  Hospice also includes pastoral care for the resident and their family.

At Sadie G. Mays, we contract with professional hospice agencies to provide our residents with compassionate care and family support for people who are at the end of life. We are committed to helping our patients to live as comfortably as possible while delivering quality health care services.

To make a reservation for hospice care or for more information, contact our Admissions Coordinator,  Pamela Scandrett, at (404) 901-4502,; Nurse Liaison, Katrina Perkins, (404) 901-3508,; or our Marketing Liaison, Karla Davis, (404) 402-6985,
