Sadie G. Mays has experienced a lot of change over the last several months, and there is more change to come
- The exterior renovations are almost complete. This much needed facelift was long overdue, and our facility looks so great with the new color and the stonework repairs.
- Our first bathing room will be finished by the end of September. Work will then begin on the bathing rooms on areas B and C.
- Over the last several months, we have been implementing a new healthcare software system, PointClickCare.
- A new activity director, Denise Curier, has joined our staff. Be sure to meet her when you visit.
- On August 1, our management agreement with PruittHealth ended. Over the last ten years, PruittHealth provided support services (primarily in billing and financial reporting) to Sadie G. Mays. Our board of directors decided not to renew the agreement. This will not cause any interruption in services to residents and family members. Before Pruitt, Sadie G. Mays operated for over 65 years without a management agreement with an outside vendor.
